I have a meeting at BC tomorrow and I'm wondering if I should take 95 or 93? I'll be coming in from the Andover area. The meeting will be at Merket Chemistry Building so advise on where to park would be helpful too.

Google maps has it either way, so I'm curious what people have experienced with morning traffic and everything.

Jake, you're screwed either way. Both downtown and Rt 128 traffic in the morning is horrible.

Yeah, I know I'm screwed. I guess I'm just looking to be talked out of taking 93. But the more I think about it it probably makes more sense taking 93 and going west away from the city in the morning.

Yeah, I did everything in my power to avoid driving in and around Boston.

I'd consider getting off at Rt 2 and driving through Cambridge/Storrow Drive to avoid 95 traffic into downtown -- still likely to be somewhat congested, but may be a bit better than 95.

I drive occasionally to Brighton/Hyde Park/Jamaica Plain in the AM from Chelmsford.  I always prefer 95/128 than going thru Boston.  If you leave early enough (intersection of 3 and 95 by 7:00) you'll have no problem.  Get up early and grab breakfast in Newton Center.

When I leave my house at 6:45 I am in Brighton by 7:30 almost every time.

From Andover you can avoid the 93 congestion by getting off at the Medford/Rt 16 exit, cutting across Somerville(Mystic Valley Parkway/Rt 28) through Lechmere Square and down to the Science Museum. Then take Storrow Drive to Fenway and then Brookline Ave into BC.
