I was thinking about what Centers are out there and available for the cheap, and Eddy Curry came to my mind. I wondered what happened to him after he was waived by Dallas, and I see that he has signed a deal to play in China.
I don't know if he would be able to get out of that contract, if an NBA squad were to come calling, but if he were to be able to get out of his contract, I think Danny should go after him.
He has slimmed down, and he's a talented 7-footer with a low post offensive game, a big body, and he's got size, plus he's a 7-foot center with a big body and size. Did I mention that he is a true center who has size and is big? Oh yeah, he's 7-ft also.
His defense is somewhat sub-par........so he'd fit right in with the C's.
What do you think? I think we should take a flyer on him, a cheap 7-footer with skills.

False information. Dont listen to this Celtic fans! Collins is one of our best players on the team. Doc needs to give him more minutes and more oppertunities for shots (especially since he hasn't had the chance to show his outside touch) |
