I think Trevor Ariza would be a very good player for the Celtics right now.

His elite athleticism and high level defense would be a great addition to the team. In addition to Bradley's return, I think that would give the Celtics a major boost defensively and help get them back to play defense at a very high level.

They'd still need to find KG some more help in the paint defensively and on the backboards to complete the defensive turnaround. Maybe sign Chris Andersen and Kenyon Martin to reinforce that interior defense as well.

I would welcome a Trevor Ariza for Jeff Green swap.

Yes, all Green did in his three years in OKC, was put up these averages:  15.6 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1 steal, and .6 blocks.  He shot 44.5%, 34.2% from long distance, and 78.2% at the line.

But, he "wasn't really good there!!!":-))))))))))

Did I mention that two of those three years won 50 or more games???

He isn't doing that now though is he?   The NBA is a "what have you done for me lately"  league.

Tough one to decide on, but with alot of money on both sides of contracts, neither team would do it
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

Yes, and he also did that playing with the biggest ball hog of a point guard you can find. People need to give Green time, he missed an entire year from the NBA, and it's not like he was playing ball in china, he was laid up after heart surgery.

Bad idea.

I'm not too impressed a all with any of the players we'd be sending out, but would not give them up for Okafor and Ariza.

As little value as those three have, they could likely get better return than that.

I disagree. Okafor and Ariza are both excellent defensively, something the Celtics, and Doc, value a lot more than most NBA teams. I would love to have both of them on this team, and I think them in combination with a returning Bradley would vault us back to THE elite defensive team.

Ariza sucks.  Plain and simple.  No thanks.

Okafor would be an upgrade over what we have, but I would give up no more than Green and Melo.
