Where did the Thibs defensive sheme go?  Chicago is the best team at preventing the corner three.  They're brilliant at it.  What are the player do/Doc teaching that they give up so many wide open corner three looks?  This is like pre-Thibideau era again, with the blizting and easy threes.

Didnt you hear, Doc is a great coach.  Whatta we need Thibs for? :P

yup I heard that too ....somewhere :-X

Old...lazy...and will be lucky to make the playoffs. This team has so many issues and they are no habits. No more excuses. They stink

Is the terrible defense a coaching or player issue? Hard to imagine that the coaches have changed a philosophy that worked. Are these guys really that poor/slow at defense or are they not smart enough to figure out simple defensive rotations that high school players can figure out?

Bass, Bradley,Stiemsa.  All new inserts figured it out last year

We were 10-18, at this point in the season, in 2006-2007.

...and we finished 24-58 - worst in the E.C.  I don't think we're that bad this year, but we'll struggle to make the 8th seed, possibly 9th.

I'm tired of Doc - his act is getting old.  And Avery isn't going to be our savior either.

This team may go on a 6 game losing streak.

Doc made a few adjustments. :'(
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

I don't know if it's coaching but on several of the corner threes Sacramento hit, the Celtics bigs couldn't close down the baseline, which caused the weakside defender to have to sink down, leaving the corner three open.  None of the bigs besides Garnett can blitz the screen effectively. I don't think it's even just blitzing.  Whether it's blitzing, switching, whatever, Bass and Sullinger are really bad defenders.

Just heard Scal basically question the heart and commitment of this team based on the lack of defense. He couldn't be more correct. Maybe we should hire him to be the defensive coach?

Just checked the score on ESPN.com (didn't realize it had an earlier start time) and was absolutely shocked—and appalled—to see that they're losing by 21, to the KINGS!?!

All of you saying that something has to happen are absolutely right. Three more years of THIS Jet, THIS Lee, THIS Green, THIS team ... unacceptable.
