6-0 Jason Terry closing out on a 6-7 Klay Thompson is not a pretty thought

Terry's lack of size and inability to close out shooters is one of the main reasons Boston's three point defense has been so much worse this year.

Good point.

Also, it's a good reason to start Green with PP, as many of us have been clamoring on here for, to negate Thompson's height advantage.

I hate when terry is in the game but hes not shooting. If terry is in the game he NEEDS to shoot the ball. Its what we have him for. If hes not shooting or not shooting well then there's absolutely no reason to have him in the game over Lee.

it has to do with his role though right now...the games where he was put on the bench in favor of lee starting Terry had big games in terms of ppg/shot attempts.

but right now, even he's admitted being in the starting lineup he has to play differently to get others involved/going.

its why getting bradley back is soo big..not just for his defense but it puts someone like Terry back into the role he is more accustomed for..come off the bench and score

Solid bench with Biedrins, Jack and Landry. Not liking the smell of this one.

Jack has been killing teams off the bench lately, Terry is going to get torched.

Rajon Rondo (bruised right hip) will not play in Saturday's game vs. the Warriors.

This comes as a shock since we'd heard nothing about a hip injury, and Rondo routinely plays through minor injuries. Leandro Barbosa is absent for tonight's game, which leaves Jason Terry, Courtney Lee and Paul Pierce to do most of the PG duties.

Crap!

Going to need a huge game out of Pierce tonight. I do like that he is matched up with a rookie. Pierce usually uses his wily ways and terrific range of ways to score the ball to take advantage of inexperienced players like that. So maybe ...

Good opportunity for Jason Terry to show what he can do with more ball-handling responsibilities. Hopefully, he'll give Doc a good showing and maybe help Doc reconsider his role offensively.

I think we've done quite well with these duties in the games Rondo has missed. Hasn't changed much. Only lately has he been handling the ball a bit more now that Barbosa is off the rotation for the time being. My hope though is that he handles the ball more while Rondo is on the floor too. But Doc needs to do a better job limiting Rondo's minutes.
