Good opportunity for Jason Terry to show what he can do with more ball-handling responsibilities. Hopefully, he'll give Doc a good showing and maybe help Doc reconsider his role offensively.

LET'S GO CELTICS!

So we're going to have Terry guarding Curry for large minutes tonight?

i'd go with Tommy's idea, put Pierce in the backcourt tonight. Have Lee and Pierce as guards, and Jeff Green at SF.

Barbosa is a really big miss tonight. The C's are going to be in trouble when they sit Jason Terry. No other point guard on the roster.

No Rondo. No Bradley. No Barbosa. Three guards missing.

So Doc will have to use Courtney Lee as the backup PG and give extended minutes to a Jeff Green (SG) + Paul Pierce (SF) wing combination. Maybe some court time for Kris Joseph? Is he available? With the team?

Well it looks like Doc won't be able to play small ball tonight due to his lack of guards. He'll have to play two big men on the court for nearly the entire game.

On the plus side, Courtney Lee should be able to defend Jarrett Jack well. I don't think Jack is any quicker than Lee. Lee is taller and stronger than most PGs Jacks plays against. Lee normally does well defensively on PGs / combo guards.

On the other hand, Golden State will have a genuine and quality point guard out there on the floor. Someone who can control the tempo and dictate a game. Run his team's offense effectively. Not worried about Jack's scoring against C.Lee but Jack's passing and leadership could cause Boston some problems.

Watch out for Draymond Green tonight, he's a smart, tough player.

He could see a lot of minutes at SF tonight when Boston go big on the wing with Pierce and Green.

No way Doc does something this smart.

One good thing, built-in excuse for a loss.

That's right. If Boston loses tonight, it will be Doc's fault. Rondo being out, the lack of size to work with and the fact Golden State is a good team with some great streaky shooting would have nothing to do with it.

Collins is the starting center and Lee is the starting pg. :'(

I don't think Doc will have any choice but to go with that combination for parts of this game.
