  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
The Clippers were 23-6 with a 15 game winning streak.

The Warriors were 20-10 and won 7 of their last 10 games.

The Clippers right now are the best team in the NBA and Golden State would be the 3rd seed if it was in the Eastern Conference.

So lighten up and enjoy some perspective.  ;D

The Celtics weren't playing against scrubs but the C's sure as heck played like scrubs.

This. It was even worse being at Oracle in person tonight hah... No Rondo really hurt the team but it's a bad sign if one player effects things that badly. So many forced shots...

Well, they had Rondo against the Clips and didn't fare any better.

I agree that the Clips and Warriors are playing really well right now, but let's face it: the Cs are playing like scrubs against virtually every opponent.

That statement is just flat out wrong.  Before they played LA, the Cs stomped Brooklyn on Xmas day.

They have beaten OKC.

They also had a really tough schedule the last month or so.  Had to go on the road against San Antonio, Houston, Chicago, LA, and Golden State.

I am not making excuses for them.  I am disgusted with their defense this year, and many of the new players have me scratching my head (JET primarily.)

But there was a point last year when I thought Dooling was the worst player I had ever seen.  He wound up being the spiritual leader for this team at the end of the season.  The team came together and played through adversity.

It is still early in the season, they have only been playing for 2 months.  I will be patient.

If they are still a .500 team in March, then I will seriously worry.

Love the optimism and am completely with you on perspective... But aren't we supposed to be the second best team in the east and one of maybe 5 or 6 legit contenders? If we can't put up a decent fight against the wests "best" then how can we live up to that title?

Enough with the excuses.  We're not even competitive with these teams.  We are barely beating the cavaliers. :-X

The Heat only have six more wins than the C's. That's all. 6. You want to panic, trade everyone & dump Doc just 6 wins away from #1 in Dec?

Excuses are getting painful. Isn't this supposed to be a good team that can beat good teams. Have now lost 6 out of 8 and 5 Of them have been horrible performances. And yes, they beat a Nets team on the verge of mutiny that fired its coach the next day. 29 games and they still can't play defense. Oh, I forgot. It's not the defense, it is just that every team that beats them is on fire for that game.

All I know is these are the worst back to back losses since 2002.

6 more wins after 29 games. This would be good if it was the end of the season.

If we're a contender -- even an outside one -- we should be able to be competitive with the best teams in the league.

If we're a mediocre team, I guess the blowouts make sense.

the Heat can afford to lose some games because their talent and upside is twice that of boston. Miami is going through the motion...not sure you can say that about boston
