and this time I think you'll like them a lot better than before because all these changes happened as a direct result from feedback from folks like you

see details here:

http://blog.sbnation.com/2012/12/27/3801164/product-changes-homepage-changes-to-improve-scanability-and-better

specifically for CelticsBlog there will now be easy to find Forum and Chat links at the top of the page

general highlights for all sites include

- smaller pics up top (in the "cover")
- left-aligned stories below (the "river") with smaller pics
- higher emphasis and placement for FanPosts
- ability to put FanPosts in the cover

all this is going to happen "in early January"

click the link above and let me know what you think
Faith and Sports - an essay by Jeff Clark

Thank you! I have not complained yet but I have been spending a lot less time on the front pages and inside the stories since the change. I have been mostly reading the forums but look forward to the changes.

  • It's what I do! It's who I am!
It certainly will be nice. I haven't gone to the front page of CB since the changes. It would always freeze up my computer.

I guess the people at Celticsblog were not the only SB Nation bloggers registering complaints about the new design to their site editors.

I think the changes are steps in the right direction for bringing the front page back to the easy to use and fun place it once was.

Thank goodness, these changes will be good. Now if they could only improve the loading issue.
