Yea doc yell at the kid that was trying to protect himself :P ::)

yell at the kid who missed his rotation. thankfully sullinger is mature and can take it. he wasn't yelling at him for the foul, which was a good hard foul, not a flagrant, but teaching him how his rotation was late.

and, yes, k, the ref's have been horrible. the c's are losing this game on their own. that doesn;t negate the fact that the refs have been calling ticky tack fouls on the c's all night.

Please stop with the refs. Celts are embarrassing themselves.

Please look at the bolded portion. In no way did I say the ref's were responsible for The Celtics losing this game. I merely replied to K about the way the game was being called. If you can show me where I blamed the ref's for The Celtics being down in this game please do so. Otherwise, please don't accuse me of something I didn't do.
I think the point is, the refs are irrelevant.  Complaining about the refs when your team is down 20 and getting owned by Matt Barnes is just stupid.
I don't know whether to step in as a mod here or not. Don't go calling people stupid. Especially not when they're talking about an aspect of the game that's going on.

Also, whether the refs are bad or good, IS relevant. Maybe not relevant to the W or the L, but it's relevant to the score, and the enjoyment we're not getting from watching the game.

We're not blaming the refs. We're saying we're playing like crap, but the refs aren't helping.

Deal with that. Don't go calling people stupid for an opinion.
I didn't call another poster stupid.  I said complaining about the refs whe  you're down 23 is stupid.  So they may have missed a call.  Not that I agree.  We'd be down 20 instead.  Big deal.  The refs have nothing to do wih anything anchored in reality.
No, you don't call posters out personally, but you leave it implied. We don't like that here.

I suggest this argument over now.

I'm ready to trade anyone not named Garnett, Rondo, Pierce and Bradley.  I hope AB can make a meaningful impact.

Varnado is tiny. Skinny Ryan Hollins is pushing him around.

This team never needed to gel before.  They were always a dominant first half team until last season.

When you have a talented team on paper like the Celtics do, and they do, as a coach your first priority should be not to screw things up.  Not to do so many unconventional things if it hasn't proved to work.  I'm talking about giving the ball to Rondo all time, although it's been dialed back a bit lately and also KG's minutes.  If every other team rests their best big man and defensive whiz early and sits him for long stretches, fine, but when every other team plays their starters for long stretches and you're mixing and matching from nearly the get-go, well, you're not going to be in rhythm and you're going to be at an disadvantage.

If Doc and Ainge feel Garnett is best playing 30 minutes a night, fine but rest him while the other team's starters are resting.  That's all.  The Celtics have a much better chance of surviving then.  You can't play like Garnett is in foul trouble every game.

Varnado must be nervous. Fell over trying to run down court there.

Oh my gosh, look at that! Did you see how deep Ryan Hollins got on post position against Varnado?

Hollins was 2-3 feet from the rim. Varnado couldn't do anything to stop him. RYAN HOLLINS!!

who was that random guy who just walked up to danny? lol

By the look on Danny's face, I think the guy told him, "dude, your team sucks"
What, because Danny couldn't have figured out the obvious by himself?

It's really disappointing to be beaten by a team that doesn't look like they could run a half-court play with any sort of consistency. We used to eat those teams for breakfast: close down the paint, take high-percentage shots on offense. This seems to have reverted to pray they missed open shots, take the first jumper that comes around on offense.

Seriously.  What are we supposed to get for our scrubs?  Anything more than scrubs is wishful thinking.
