The Nets are 40 and 65 since trading for DWill. That winning percentage comes out to a 31 and 51 team in an 82 season. A real top-of-the-league PG like Chris Paul would never lead a 52 loss team in a season, regardless of the lack of talent on the roster.
Williams is a guy who benefited by playing in a very strict, PG-centric system in Utah under Sloan. He was a relatively efficient shooter there and a solid assist man. With the Nets, where he was allowed to play a more freelance style, he's been a disaster, probably because he's not that talented and has some character issues.
