Because that was a disgrace... that entire game was a refing failure, and that no call on Ilyasova was unacceptable...

I have no words other than the fact that the NBA has gotten very hard to watch, and that blows

The Bucks were the aggressors most of the game.  They got inside constantly, and the Celtics played tough physical D and rightly got called for fouls.  Not all of the calls were good ones, but if you get inside you're going to get calls.

Agreed that the Bucks were aggressive but there were many times where we got inside and got nothing... On one end Pierce is hacked, the other Ellis gets to the line on a touch foul. It was blatantly obvious. Inconsistency with calls is a serious problem in this league

The celtics got inside, got hammered, and got no calls. That's all on the refs, there is no other explanation.

also, we might have lost green for a while due to 2 bad calls in succession (the over-the-back and the elbow to the eye). it didn't look good at all. considering how long he was down and how much pain he was obviously in, i'd be shocked if he didn't break something.

Guys, the Bucks missed a ton of free throws and fumbled away a 7 point lead with less than a minute left.

The Celtics DID NOT lose this game because of the refs.

  • Everyone's excited for the new era.
Look, if Sully got called for his elbow on Jennings, then Ilyasova definitely should've been called for his elbow and hook on Green.  Pierce got whacked the whole game, and Ellis had a LeBron James costume on.  These refs are a disgrace.

Looks its not the only reason (i.e kg and terry missing everything) but it was a factor... refs aren't there to be a factor, they're there to call the game correctly. And who cares if they missed a ton of free throws? They missed free throws on calls we weren't even getting...ALL GAME

Part of the reason the NBA will always have horrible refs is because not enough people complain about it. So many people are always ready to defend the refs even after CLEARLY lopsided games and blown calls. This was another reminder to me why the NBA is a complete joke and inferior to the NFL. Joke joke joke, complete and utter disgrace. If the refs call a clean fair series we probably beat miami last year! The NBA isn't just about Team A Vs Team B. Its about Team A Vs Team B and whichever side the f***** refs are on!!. They decide games far too often with their horrible officiating !!!!!

Celtics lost this game becasue they would not take the ball to the hole , drive into the paint ...  Jet and KG chucking jumper after jumper and the lead going away.

With KG and Jet shooting so bad, we were lucky to be in the game .

We missed Sully BIG TIME , KG is not rebounding , he refuses to play in the paint....

We have to get someone BETTER than Collins and younger than KG to play in the paint.

this game was

Celtics need somebody WHO can make a BUCKET ...Rondo just is n't worth much for the Celtics at the end of game....he can't make a shot to save his life.

TURRIBLE

Pretty sure the referees did not make us get out rebounded.  Also pretty sure they didn't make us a jump shooting team.  Minus Pierce and Green who did go to the line, we have no one who can really attack the basket.  Do you expect Jason Terry to go to the stripe when he takes 9 three pointers?  Absolutely not.  KG is a jump shooting big man.  When he plays inside, hes unstoppable, but he can't handle that style physically anymore.  Also, Doc has to step up a little here too.  He needs to make sure Rondo doesn't get lost in the offense.  He needs to shoot more then 11 shots in a game especially in a game where Terry and KG don't have it.
do it

Danny should complain to the NBA front office.....

For letting him keep his job after blowing two of his last three first round picks, all his pathetic off season signings, for giving Jeff Green the worst contract since Jon Koncak. Kids go check your Google device.

Yup, complain away Danny. Maybe the NBA will put you out of your misery.
