Bos: OUT: Green, Sully, Lee & Melo IN: Gortat, Dudley
Phx: OUT: Gortat, Dudley IN: Green, Sully, Melo, Barea
Min: OUT: Barea IN: Lee
I'd try to not include Sully, but Pheonix might not budge.
Ideas?

I'd be good with that. Gortat is my No. 1 target, and Dudley is a good outside shooter. I like Sully, but it's a price I'm willing to pay. Melo's a project anyway, and Lee is redundant to Bradley in my book.

not a bad trade at all.
Cs gain to solid vets in their primes
Phoenix gets younger and starts a true rebuild
Minn loses redundancy at PG and gets better defensively

The prize is obviously Gortat, but for me, replacing Green with Dudley is also a big gain.
I'd think, while Green is assuredly more talented, Dudley might fit better. He knows he's a role player. He doesn't need to be "involved" to stay engaged. It would also free up Terry to be more assertive as the go to bench scorer.

Too big of a shake up in my opinion and I doubt it happens but def one of the most even logical trades (on paper) I've seen on this board

Be a great deal for the Celtics if we could make it happen.

I'd be happy if Lee and Sully worked for Gortat.

I can't really see Pheonix being at all interested. Not enough return for legit center. I'd also imagine they wouldn't be very interested in Lee, period. Whereas in the proposal I offered, Minny might have strong interest in turning one of the 4 PGs they have into a starting SG.

I think this trade might actually work if we were forced to take back beasley instead of dudley. I think it be hard for Phoenix to have to have both Green and beasley.

One issue - Barea has a really silly contract doesn't he? Not sure if PHX would want to take that in.

a "reasonable" trade. As Boston, I'd be very tempted, but Danyy and Doc prob. see a lot more in the players going out than we do...

What if we could tweak it a bit to replace Dudley with Beasley. Beasley is not one of Phoenix's favorite and I beg they'd ship him out at this point for cheap. Throw in a first rounder to them and they might bite. Plus I just dont like Dudley and think we need a bigger forward to back up Pierce.
Boston out: Green, Sully, Lee, Melo & a first rounder In: Gortat, Beasley
Rondo/Barbosa AB/Terry Pierce/Beasley KG/Bass Gortat/Wilcox
Thats a team I can go to battle with.

Barea is also a huge part of what they do up there. The picture will be more clear once Rubio gets completely healthy (IE, we'll know how Shved, Lee, Ridnour, and Barea will divide up a lot of the remaining 62 minutes at the guard spots). I'd be very surprised if Barea was the one deemed most expendable when it was all said and done.
