there was a pregame interview with doc, where he said that the new guys hadn't picked up the system quick enough and that's why they were trapping pick & rolls.

I would have thought letting them play through the learning curve was a better option then changing the way we play Pick & rolls all together.

We must have the most difficult defense to learning the history of basketball. A full preseason, 24 games, and guys still don't get it. Please. This is becoming a huge joke.

I've always thought the Celtics defensive philosophy has been to trap and recover on the pick and roll.  The problem hasn't been the trapping, it's been the recovering.
