Nene is marginal IMHO.  I like Okafor more.  Only one more year owed after this one.  Better shot blocker. I think Emeka can get back to his numbers from a few years ago once KG and PP and Rondo breath new life into him:-))

Okafor would be really good with Rondo. The two biggest reasons I would prefer him to Nene are that 1) he will cost us less and 2) he will play more games. Nene misses far too many games each year for us to rely on him for a playoff run.

I'd love Nene, but no deal is there to be had unless Washington takes back both Green and Bass, and what sense does that make for them?

Both are better than Washington's starting forwards.

Not until Jeff Green gets some consistency. You know who is having a better year than Jeff Green right now? Martell Webster. Think about that for a second.

Not surprising at all. Reason? Jeff Green sucks more than a Eureka at a Marriott.

Lee. Bass, and Fab Melo work. However I don't really see a trade worth doing for the Wizards that Boston would want to do.

Washington likely would like to see what this roster can look like with John Wall playing also.

Wow, I am surprised at the tepid response to Nene. I think he'd be great on the Celtics!

Me too. Nene is a strong two way player.

The offensive boost he'd bring would be a major difference maker.

Nene is much more talented and easily the superior player. When is the last time you've seen Okafor play? Offensively the guy is a shell of himself. Think Perk. Maybe worse.

Nene and KG would be very nasty offensively.

And an upgrade defensively over everyone else on the roster.

Nene just can't seem to stay on the floor though. His being so injury prone worries me. I want someone who is more durable.

Still if that is the best we can do then I think it is worth the risk depending on the price.
