Right now at the point that I wouldn't mind the Celtics struggling if it means that Doc will re-evaluate how much the ball sticks in Rondo's hands and his substitution pattern with KG. Winning a few games here and losing a few there apparently keeps him contented, I guess because he feels the Celtics are going to be darkhorse 7th seeds in the playoffs and that's good enough for him.

Yup, well said. The only player on this team right now that I am happy with is KG. As for the rest of the team, the whole roster is fair game!

BOS Sends: Rondo, Green, Bass BOS Gets : Anderson, Calderon, Davis
NOH Sends: Anderson, NOH Gets : Bargnani, Green
TOR Sends: Davis, Calderon, Bargnani TOR Gets : Rondo, Bass
I actually like this deal for the Celtics.

So the Hornets give up their number one pick for Barnagni and Jeff Green.
Hmmm somehow I don't see them doing that.
where do you people get these ideas? Do people even consider what the management of the other team would say.
Hornets fans would find this hysterical.

I basically agree. KG ....is the only "IMPACT" player the Celtics have , PP best days are gone, ROndo is a head case , the rest are Average at best. No rebounding , no energy and out manned at nearly ever postion. Might as well play AB, Joseph , Fab , and Sully ... let em get better.

I think he was referring to Ed Davis from Toronto.

NOH Sends: Anderson, NOH Gets : Bargnani, Green
TOR Sends: Davis, Calderon, Bargnani TOR Gets : Rondo, Bass
So we trade out the best player by a mile (Rondo), arguably the second best player in the deal (Green) and another quality PF (Bass) for a PF that's a little better than the one we're trading (Anderson), a low-quality PG that plays horrid D and a PF prospect that still has to produce consistently (Davis)? yeesh NOH and Toronto just became your best friends.

Oops. My apologies. Not as bad but now we are losing Rondo for Ryan Anderson + a few other mediocre NBA players? Not my style.

If we start Green at 3, pierce at 2 all of a sudden we aren t really small at all. we don't need a trade but if there is a skilled big man out there obviously you gotta try to get him
watched green stay in front of and smother tony parker on one play last night, made me think of starting him at the 2 and keep pp at the 3. talk about mismatches...

I have no problem blowing the team up at this point, but this is an awful trade that does nothing except make the Celtics significantly worse

Rondo is a great player but you'll have to understand that other Franchises do not see the same value in him as we do. If so he would've been traded. He's a great player but not a great fit for this ball club.
Calderon & Ed Davis when giving minutes produce very good #'s. imagine Calderon playing 38 minutes a game like Rondo does, he'll avg more points & assist then Rondo. Davis is a very good defender, great rebounder & efficient scorer that knows his limits. Ryan Anderson is Ryan Anderson, yall all know his greatness.
Noh clearly needs a point guard. Vasquez is ok. but for a back-up only. I didn't get in to too much detail about the trade obviously, there will be other pieces added (Aaorn Gray, Aminu etc..), but the main is what I posted. I LOVE THIS TRADE FOR ALL OF THE TEAMS!

I didn't realize you were serious. My inclusion of those players for ours was basically a joke. There is absolutely no way Danny does such a horrible trade.
