For those that didn't see it. KG and Mchale were hugging for a good minute maybe more. And with Mchale losing his daughter weeks ago. Both were brought to tears and especially Mchale. It just made me think. Here's a guy who actually cares about people. Refreshing.

I saw that and it caused tears to run down my face. I love Kevin McHale as he's one of my all time favorite players and feel so sad that he lost his daughter.

KG has been my favorite Celtic since he was traded here in 2007 and now I look at KG in an even HIGHER light than I did before.

I was also listening to the post-game show on ESPN with Mike Wilbon, Jalen Rose and some other guy (never seen him before.) The 3rd guy whose name I don't know talked about how far back the two Kevins go.

He also said something about how in 2007, the Lakers were also hot after KG but Kevin McHale, being a Celtic at heart, could never see himself trading his best player to the hated Lakers.

That made me cry even more.

Kevin McHale has always been one of my favorites.  He just seems like a great down to earth guy....the kind of guy you'd love to hang with.  I was so sad to hear about the passing of his daughter. Can't imagine the pain of losing a child.

Seeing him and KG hug was such a great thing....maybe all the Garnett haters out there will understand that he is good guy after all.  I too have been a huge Garnett fan ever since we acquired him and will always think of him as a Celtic.

A couple of Kevins, a couple of Celtic legends, a couple of good guys.

That was a beautiful moment.

McHale is my all-time favorite Celtic. What a great guy and player.

God Bless you Lurch, and thanks for all you've given the Celtics

The years the C's were struggling,  I followed KG , he was and is my favorite NBA player , he had the magic of the old school players .  I could have cared less about Minn as ateam , but I cheered for KG everygame I could possibily watch.  I appreciated his effort nigh in and night out on such a poor team.  He always plays hard.  Just like Bird , Mchale, Parrish, Cowens and all the rest. Kg might have bad moments , but its not from lack of effort.

So few players come into the league today with the heart and dedication of KG.

It was a touching moment. :)
