Why did Boston start out the Houston game posting up KG after never posting him up when Dallas went small?  Why do they rarely post up Green this season after it doing it consistently when he came over?  Why are we still running those stupid "let's stand around for 18 seconds while we run people off baseline screens" plays when Ray is gone?

Boston's offense is overly complicated and too dependent on designed plays in the halfcourt.  The team is also incredibly stubborn in that Doc and Rondo seem to refuse to acknowledge it when what they're trying to do isn't working.

We're among the league leaders in eFG% and TS% and have an average or better offense this year. Maybe you should expound on what you mean by "isn't working".

Everyone knows TS% is bull/inaccurate... its not even a proper way to judge real b-ball. That goes along with Synergy stats and PER.

Yes, the best way to judge how efficiently teams score is to add the height (in inches) of the starters on a team and divide by 5. Not with stats or anything.

I don't think TS%, PER, or any other stat can be inaccurate. They're measurements, they're unfailingly accurate.

The conclusions that people derive from them might be inaccurate.

TS% and PER aren't even the same thing. TS% is a measure of points per scoring attempt, PER is a munge of a bunch of stats weighted at the whim of the person who made the stat up.

I don't think there could be much argument that the main issue so far has been the inconsistent defensive effort -- not scoring.
