I'm hoping it includes Verejao , SMith  or Cousins . Minn will never let Love go.

Not crazy about Gortat , I wouldn't trade Bradley or Rondo or Green to get him. He woul dbe good addition , but not enought to push us past the teams we need to get past.

Cousins can battle those thugs on the Nets and HEAT. Plus he is fast enough to play the smallers.

Have to give up Rondo or AB and some others to get have any chance at him.

Franky I'd rather have Cousins than Howard. COusins will OWN Howard one day.

I think one or multiple of Lee, Bass, and Sullinger will be moved.

My inclination would lean towards Bass.

agreed, sully is showing more and more not the brandon isn't doing a nice job
Call me crazy, but I think Danny finds a way to turn Bass or Lee, Melo, and picks into Gortat.  Just a feeling I have.
maybe this as well?
bass, barbosa/lee and melo (cash/picks) for gortat

I expect a big here after the trade deadline and don't want pp,kg,rr,ab or green moved

  • It's what I do! It's who I am!
It will be rumors, maybe if ATL sucked then Smith would be an option. They are just playing too well.

I am expecting a small trade. Not starting quality players coming back in exchange.

Just something to provide a little more balance to the big man rotation. Someone with legitimate size/length.

Maybe they'll end up waving either Collins or Joseph, or both, if they find a upgrade they feel would really help this team. Or they get traded for a protected 2nd round pick.
I will be very disappointed if Collins gets waived. I thought he was an excellent signing.

I feel bad that so many other people want to get rid him. Valuable end of the bench player.

I'd be surprised if they needed 3 roster spots. That's the only situation where I see Collins getting waived.

I don't see why we would need to waive anybody.  Don't we have an open spot now that Darko's gone?  Is Darko officially gone?

I think a lot of it will depend on what Bradley looks like.

If the KG/Bass/Pierce/Bradley/Rondo lineup dominates the way it did last year, I think we stand pat.

Jesus that would be pretty impressive if he pulled that off.

keep collins he is cheap and will help playoff time (even if its one game) and the best thing is with vets like him, they can sit for 10 games in a row but still come in and give you their game

I'm not promoting waiving Collins for the sake of getting rid of him. But his spot, and Josephs, are the two spots that I feel can be waived if an upgrade is at hand. One can make a case for Barbosa too, but depending on the pickup, I'd probably be more comfortable letting Barbosa go than Joseph (we're thin at the 3 as it is).

I liked the Collins signing myself, even though I've been quite disappointed with what he showed in the last couple of games he played... but given he rarely plays, it's understandable, but he still looked lost on defensive rotations.

Bass has gotten pretty close with our core guys and is the one usually out there finishing games I wonder how much it'd shake the lockeroom if it happened
