C's will keep it close and some people will look at it as a moral victory. Truth is this team is pretty mediocre.

Terrible game on so many levels for us. Bad shooting (on good looks), careless with the ball, terrible on defensive rotations in the post. That being said...really touching moment at the end with KG, Doc, Lee, and McHale. What he has gone through the past few weeks transcends basketball, and I'm glad to see our guys didn't lose sight of that. I have no idea how he's able to coach right now.

I feel glad for Kevin Mchale that he got the win.  Nice gesture at the end.

Yes, McHale has certainly been through a lot lately. I'sm sure it helps to see his friends on the celtics instead of some random opponent tonight.

That was pretty heartbreaking seeing Kevin M hugging Garnett.  Lots of things way more important than the game tonight.  I am sure every day is a struggle for KM right now.

It is game 22. When do they start getting better?

They don't. They're washed up. Finished. Just like they are every season since 2009.

A team of mismatched parts with one quality big man. New sheriffs in town and Lakers and Celts are over for now

We could use another center but aside from that the roster's perfectly fine. I don't see why it's particularly mismatched.

I have not read this entire thread, but here are my thoughts from tonight's debacle:

Bass is really worthless.
We need a back up PG badly.
Wilcox's defense was terrible.
Rondo's handle has been off the last two games. (Still amazing stats and assists.)
KG really struggle on bank shots from 5 feet in.

As you all mentioned though, this game became rather meaningless with KG's convo with McHale!!:-))))

Bass is really worthless.
Bass was really bad tonight. A non-entity in all phases of the game (offense, defense and rebounding).

Houston probably have one of the weakest PF rotations in the league. Very disappointing to see such an anonymous performance from Bass here.
