I know this might seem cold, but I've been thinking about it since the beginning of the season. Anyone else hopes Pierce retires after the season and doesn't pick up the player option?
nah i wanna see him break Havelchek's scorin record

First quarter and second half were really disheartening tonight.

Surprising to see such a flat second half performance after their second quarter. It looked like they found their level in that period. Things were working well then.

Lazy pass by Rondo really set up the 3 that ended it.  We have to take care of the ball better.  ESP on the road.

13 assists and 7 turnovers :o

It is game 22. When do they start getting better?

They don't. They're washed up. Finished. Just like they are every season since 2009.

  • You say when......
Celts beat themselves by the usual way..letting houston in the paint for easy baskets...rondo letting the guards go by or around him....his shooting is better...his d is worse....maybe he doesn't know how to stay in front of his man...?

I thought Asik and Parsons did a great job on Garnett and Pierce respectively tonight. Boston's offense was really limited in shot-creation without those two go-to guys. Put too much pressure on Rondo's playmaking.

I'd like to have seen more of an effort to get Jason Terry going. He could have been that necessary weapon to boost the offense today. Doc has got to get more out of Terry than just spot-up shooting. It's a waste of a dynamic offensive player.

I feel glad for Kevin Mchale that he got the win.  Nice gesture at the end.

A team of mismatched parts with one quality big man. New sheriffs in town and Lakers and Celts are over for now

so how many games until everyone is in agreement? we are going nowhere this year without another BIg who can score and play defense anbd rebound. our paint D is atrocious. Ia lso blame COACHING. IT IS DOC RIVERS [dang] job to mentally prepare these guys. Doc you are FAILING pal. FAILING.

[dang] shame a team without terry, wilcox and green made it to game 7 of the ECF. this team would be out in the first round. unbelievable.

Yes, McHale has certainly been through a lot lately. I'sm sure it helps to see his friends on the celtics instead of some random opponent tonight.
