the lakers are atrocious on defense (they weren't good on D before d'antoni, and are obviously worse since), and the knicks have a bunch of scorers. this game is not a huge surprise.

but man c's Knicks game is going to be big! we've had their number in recent years and we match up well. On jan 8 we take back the Atlantic division and reconfirm our place among contenders.

There is a sense of history there that just isn't with squads like Minnesota or Miami.

I don't like LA switching Dwight onto the PG. They need to keep him in the paint to provide rim protection. The other positions can switch but the center needs to stay home with his man to provide effective help defense.
