Pierce for Derrik Favors, Milsap, and Kevin Murphy

It gives us the Next young athletic Big we so desperately need it Favors

Experience2 years
2012-13 Season
PPG   RPG   BLKPG   PER
9.3   7.5   1.9   18.84

This in less than 23MPG at 21 years young, he's gonna be a double double machine the next decade. Now combine him with Sully, KG, Favors, Milsap, in the front court with Wilcox and Green playing 35 Minutes a night. Plus Milsap gives us Jeff Green insurance should he not step it up in the way we think he should. And Carrol gives us another 6'8" SF body to back up Green, and Milsap.

I make this trade. Sorry Paul I'm cold.

There gonna lose Milsap anyway. Pierce for Favors Essentially. They could make some noise with...
 M Willaims 14   2    7
 G Hayward 14ppg 3rpg 2apg
 Pierce    19    4    5
 Kanter    6     4    1BPG
 Big Al    17    11   1BPG

Kanter will be good in time he's only 20. They may not be able to pay Favors in a year in a half anyway.

Utah wouldn't trade Favors for Pierce straight up, and they sure as heck aren't throwing Millsap into the deal too.

You cannot call they are going to lose Millsap out of nothing. For the record, I'm presuming they will dump Big Al somewhere and start Favors in his position alongside Millsap, and Kanter backing up both positions when needed.

So, for a veteran, Utah are giving away a kid with huge potential, let alone a starting PF, too?

Utah are at best a borderline play-off team right now, and I will be surprised if they make it.
With the addition of Pierce and loss of Millsap, they will be hovering around being a borderline play-off team again.
They can get nothing out of this trade.

They want to move Millsap or Big Al (rumor) so they can find more time for Favors.

Makes no sens for them to trade Favors along with one of them.

Pierce for Derrik Favors, Milsap, and Kevin Murphy

They wouldn't trade us Favors OR Milsap straight up for PP with the season he's having.  besides, they actually want to keep Favors.  he's not going anywhere

Pierce is shooting 41.5% right now. That makes him 259th out of 422 NBA players. Metta World Peace is a better shooter.
