NEW YORK -- Boston Celtics forward-center Chris Wilcox has been fined $25,000 for making an obscene gesture directed toward fans during a game, it was announced today by Stu Jackson, NBA Executive Vice President Basketball Operations.
Wilcox's actions occurred during a timeout with 8:47 remaining in the 4th period of the Celtics 95-94 loss to the 76ers on Friday, Dec. 7. Thoughts? |

Well they put the kiss cam on him and Courtney Lee (i think) and he gave the kiss cam the bird.
All in good fun. Probably did warrant a fine though.

This was on the jumbotron at the sixers home game of the 2 game series. It was kiss cam. It was wilcox and jared sullinger by the way...to correct myself. No videos yet though. I have been looking.  |

Haha. Thats one of the funniest things Ive heard in a while. Definitely warrant of a fine though. Any other player in the league would have gotten the same penalty. |

Good for Wilcox. These "fan cams" in NBA arena across the league are starting to get ridiculous.
I have season tixs and can't enjoy a single game without having to sit through the fan close-ups at every game on the big video screen.
What ever happened to going to a basketball game just to watch basketball?
