  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
No specific date given, but Washburn did a few interviews with Danny Ainge and this Bradley status came out with those reports, the 'source ' is most likely Danny Ainge.
Can't wait.

Quote
Avery Bradley is "very close" to returning from offseason shoulder surgery, according to a source.

Bradley was shooting before the Boston Celtics' game on Friday.

Bradley's exact return date to practice remains uncertain.

"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

great news. a tp for finding it.

the celtics as a team are still not playing well together, but adding bradley will not set them back.

i think in a couple of months the celtics will gel as a team and be ready for the playoffs. i think having bradley on board will do a lot to push this team's defensive intensity as well.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I think I'd like it better if Bradley was sent to the D-League using the new ability to send rehabbing players there and inserted directly into the starting lineup when he is ready, rather than trying to bring him along slowly off the bench.

remember, when Perkins returned it came out of nowhere...I wouldnt be surprised to see bradley playing in a week or two

I cant wait to get his ball pressure and defense back into our starting unit.

Yea, and Perk played a decent amount of minutes when he returned, just in time to be traded. Hopefully the same doesn't happen to Bradley.

I think the C's are going to take it easy on Avery's return to the court. They brought Perk back partially because they were running low on bigs at the time (Semih was the only other center at the time). The Celtics have four healthy guards at the moment so they have the luxury of working Avery back into the rotation at their own pace.

Still though, great news.

Earlier in the week, that was reported as the plan.

Its not close, don't listen to this kind of BS ::). Our medical staff did the same thing with countless players (JO, Perk, Shaq, KG, Powe, Allen, etc.) It usually takes 2x of weeks than the estimate given   :-\
Jameer an elite PG?Please, ask that to his garbage highlights.

I feel bad for the d-league guys who try to dribble against him.

Earlier in the week, that was reported as the plan.

Well, when he gets back, we'll be back to being a complete team again.

Defense first, with improved offense.

I saw AB warming up in Orlando and he looked good man.  Making shots, dunked twice, spent a lot of time out there before the game putting up shots.

I was pumped.
