Cousins because of his size and skill set has the potential to be more of an impact in the NBA.


His mindset and immaturity makes that first possibility less likely.



Not to mention is kills the teams chance this year leaving the Celtics without a good PG, which are not easy to get in a trade.

Sac-town wouldn't do that trade anyway, not even to move Salmons. They certainly wouldn't just trade Salmons for Bass salary-wise.

Rondo for Cousins is a coup for the Celtics. There are 30 passable point guards in the NBA today, 10 in the vicinity of Rondo. There are 15 good centers in the game and 5 in the vicinity of Cousin's talent.
 
Maybe if we threw in AB there could be a discussion but from the perspective of a Celtics fan I'm not ready to go there. I think (and I'm pretty close to alone) that we have the best starting back court in the NBA one AB gets back. We'll see if I'm a homer come January.

I want to steal Cousins badly but we just don't have the resources and if we do it would put us into full blown rebuild. I'm sure Cousins would love that :)

Tired of Rondo's antics so let's get Cousins?  I'm going to let that marinate for a little...

Rondo is one of the best players in this league.  Have you considered applying for a job with the Orlando magic?
 
Finally, who is our point guard?

I love Rondo's antics, and I love Cousins' too.  They would make a great Kentucky duo.
