Green plays good against the weak / soft defrense minded WEST COAST teams..... Green just hasn't learned to play the ruff/ defense minded EAST COaST style basketball.

Jeff is gonna have to tuffen up when playing the Thugs, bigs and defense minded Eastern teams.

Someone chose the wrong night to start a negative thread on Lee and Green.  Nice game for both tonight.

that thread was started long ago...

I thought it was today, but it started 11/21. Oops.

Yes -- he does tend to think he can finesse at times when he really needs to be aggressive. Good example tonight when he got his own miss around the rim (late 3rd quarter) and could have gone up hard but instead sort of flipped the ball too hard off the backboard. It was a moment that could have been an emotional lift and a big nail into the Blazers, but he tried a light finesse approach. Can't really get away with that.  But maybe it's in him to be more aggressive.  Hard to know just yet.

Bucks have the two super quick guards,  they will pick Pierces pocket every time down court I'm afraid.
Lee , Terry and Barbosa ,will ahve to keep the Bucks guards under control somewhat.... they just abused our defense.

Will GREEN  show up , or disappear. Can he play good TWO NIGHTS in a row?  ???

Need Sully, Bass and Green to step up and SCORE some Buckets.

Can the Celtics survive against a good team without Rondo .

And if the Celtics prevail....is that a knock on Rondo ???

With their star point guard out of the lineup, Boston stepped up their defensive intensity, limiting Portland to just 33 first half points as they surged a 23-point halftime lead

Haha that's one way of putting it!!

We tend to win when Rondo doesn't play.  He's a fantastic passer, but our scorers historically have stepped up without his passes.  Go figure.  Usually it's Pierce.  We do very well with Rondo out.
