Doc said something postgame I had already been thinking. A lot of the new guys (Terry, Lee, Jeff Green) have all been very vocal about how theyre excited to be Celtics and what not and carry on the tradition, but they have only been talking. You dont just put on the jersey and your a Celtic- you have to play with heart. A few guys from last year (besides Rondo, Paul, Kevin, Ray) really understood very quickly- Pietrus, Stiemsma, and Avery. Thankfully one of those guys is still here. This team has yet to play with the heart that comes with actually being a Celtic and if they want to win, they will have to. All grit and balls.

I liked that comment from Doc, who do you think he was calling out? I'd say probably Green and the Jet, maybe Barbosa too
"7ft PG. Rondo leaves and GUESS WHAT? We got a BIGGER point guard!"-Tommy on Olynyk

I think he also needs to show PP the videos of Nelson and Joe Johnson crossing him 2 consecutive games now...
I'm really starting to lose my confidence on the Captain right now. I know he's 35, but he seems to be declining real fast this year, he looks OLD out there...
"Life has so many hurdles. Some of them I've hopped over, some of them I've tripped over. The key is to get back up and finish the race."- Paul Pierce

And he did finish...

I posted something in the game thread (1st half) along the lines of paul, terry and bass looked like they went out drinking together last night
after watching paul I think he is hurt , his lateral foot work is awful
I don't remember him looking that bad this season

I still think one of Danny's biggest mistakes in the offseason was not bring Peaches back.  Thankfully, he is still out there.

We need his attitude and his DEFENSE.

Peaches is not going to solve any problems this team has. Peaches would be the 11th opr 12th man on the depth chart of this team.

Ive been saying this for 15 games now. It looks like the whole team is just going through the motions. Its like they dont even want to make a statement or try currently. KG had some great intensity (more so than his usual self) last night on both ends of the floor but no one else is feeding off that energy. I love Pierce and still have faith in him, but when he is playing like he did last night whats the point in keeping him in the game? Careless turnovers, bad forced shots, all when we had good momentum and he killed it time after time.

Lee brought some good on ball defensive intensity last night but only for maybe one or two minutes. Terry has good attitude but every one else looks like lifeless zombies out there. I really dont want to wait for the playoffs to see how this team can actually play.
