call me crazy but wasn't this new roster geared towards improving our ability to score so we wouldn't be looking at more games where we'd struggle to get 80 points?

For most of the season they have been scoring better, but the defense has disappeared.

The Nets, somehow, have been a top defensive team this year.

Nets are doing a great job of holding us at arm's length.  It's not for lack of trying but they keep making enough plays to keep us from getting over the hump.
agreed.  unfortunately, this is not the Nets teams of the recent past.

Reggie Evans would have been perfect for this team.  But after 5 freaking years of the same problems, Danny Ainge is still clueless.

I thought the Nets defense would struggle without Wallace, but they did a good job.
JJ with big time shots didn't help our comeback case.

He's averaging 20.1 ppg, highest since 08-09.
