Other than getting a lot of Christmas shopping done, we bought a 60" Sharp HDTV for $688.  Watching Celtics games on this thing is awesome!

Wawa is on the top 5 list for things I miss most after leaving NJ.

I miss it here as well in VA.  In PA, I could tell you of 3 different locations between my house and work.

But there are quite few between in NJ, DE and MD for my ride home.

Not really, a lot of gifts and discount video games for myself.

Biggest buys were furniture purchases so we have fewer empty rooms in our house.

As I did not need a huge TV, which is the only acceptable item IMO to risk being at the center of a riot over 20-30% saving, I did get something cool.

I got to sleep in till 10 on a friday, which for a Law Student is the greatest gift of all.

Serously though, excepting the huge electronic's purchase, and having worked in retail for black friday at Best Buy for 4 years, I really don't understand the appeal to standing out in the cold for hours on end and then in line for more to save amounts that could be replicated by good online deal shopping.

Just doesn't seem worth the time and effort expounded for the most part.
