I hope that none of you is genuinely surprised that Boston nearly lost this game. We all know about "good Tony Allen" and "bad Tony Allen"; well, there's also "good Celtics" and "bad Celtics," and this was classic, New Big Three Era, regular-season "bad Celtics" basketball. It happens all the time.

That said, glad they pulled it out.

It is definitely different this year though. In previous years they would go through huge scoring droughts and rely on defensive stops to scrape through games.

This year they have no trouble scoring 30 in a quarter or 15 in an overtime period, but they are failing to get the defensive systems to stop the other team.

If we can get near the defense of previous years and still maintain the scoring potency we have now, we will be a force.

Doc made some sketchy coaching decisions tonight. Lucky to pull that one out.
like how when he sat KG/Rondo when we were down by four in the fourth late in the game? it paid off a rested KG even though he played more than his usual helped us pull it out down the stretch and in OT

This ^^^ Bradley is the key. Once he comes back and terry moves back to the bench i really think we will take off just like last year.
