I missed alot of the 3rd quarter because i was too busy watching the NFL games but how did we let them come back and almost lose the game? I'm guessing it was either poor defense by us or amazing offense by the magic.

Our perimeter defense was GOD AWFUL. That is why. The magic hit a bunch of 3's and outside shots.

Yeah, i figured as much. A few key offensive rebounds might have saved the game but it wouldn't have even been that close if it weren't for the defense breaking down. Also great defense down the stretch saved us the game too. We clearly turned it up a notch on D and got some key stops as well.

How did offensive rebounds win the game when they dominated the boards and barely won?

If it weren't for Bass and Sully gobbling up boards and getting putbacks we would have lost this game. No doubt about it.

The only part of rhe offense that worked at times was grabbing misses.

Just as an aside. Our guard defense was shocking tonight other than Courtney lee for a short stretch. Time to come back Avery...it's pretty much december.

Offensive rebounds didn't win us this game.

KG and Sully's energy won us this game...add in that p--- poor shot by Nelson and we had this in the bag.

But it never should have been this close.

Giving up 100 points to this Orlando Magic team is inexcusable.

I honestly don't know if this Celtics team is a defensive minded first team anymore.

There is a SERIOUS lack of pride and sense of urgency on the defensive side of the ball.

And that makes it so much harder to win games.

Have they said anything recently about his recovery? Last I heard he was "ahead of schedule" for his mid-December return (this was around mid-October).

He is starting to dress in warmup clothes so he can't be far away.

That was the last thing i heard as well. I would think if he was ahead of schedule he should be ready to come back any day now. At the very latest he should be returning in about 3weeks minus any setbacks.

Doc made some sketchy coaching decisions tonight. Lucky to pull that one out.
