i think the whole idea that we just have to get back on D is outdated. our D is no longer first class as in 08-09. i think we should risk some more offensive boards given that chances are our D doesn't get set regardless.

  • You say when......
defense is eveywhere...not just on our halfcourt....you do not fast outlet any rebound when a guy is in your shirt trying to get the same rebound.....so it keeps them honest....rebounding is the backbone of hoop...! 2nd chance points breaks their will and cohesion.....they start blaming....!

Bass seemed to step up his game after Sullinger played so well. This competition is great for our team.

loved seeing us not only get offensive boards but actually make 2nd chance points as well as finally get more O boards than the opposition.  wasn't just O boards that made the difference but taking better care of the D boards too.

Loving Sully's effort the last 5 games or so.  He's much improved defensively, he's rebounding like a Boss, he's scoring efficiently, and he basically commits one turnover every 5 games.

Me too ...thought he played well , when the rest of the  team was choking and letting Orlando back in.

If DOc would just pair him with a REAL CENTER , KG or Wilcox when he is in game , he is a natural forward , not a center.

Like Sully game on the boards .

How did offensive rebounds win the game when they dominated the boards and barely won?

Did you watch the game?  Without timely O rebs, especially from Sully and Bass, there's no way we would've even had a chance tonight.

I missed alot of the 3rd quarter because i was too busy watching the NFL games but how did we let them come back and almost lose the game? I'm guessing it was either poor defense by us or amazing offense by the magic.

Our perimeter defense was GOD AWFUL. That is why. The magic hit a bunch of 3's and outside shots.
