I watched his first game back the other day and thought 'Wow he looks completely different'. His lift is amazing. He's lost weight but he's had the procedure on his knee that Kobe had done a while back and it's given him a new life to his legs. He's a legit center again in this short sample size. His defense has gotten even better with his quickness and jumping. Unreal.
Do I dare say it?
BRING BACK J... JUJUAN JOHNSON! Never.

"Game 4: 4 minutes 28 seconds 87-81 Game 5:2 minutes 28 seconds 84-81 These are scores in the 4th period and time left in Games 4 and 5 in 2011 versus the Heat. The Celtics were ahead in both games and Rondo was hurt, playing with one arm." -Pearl 131 So close, yet so far.

Not impressed. Way too small of a sample size. O'Neal had plenty opportunities here in Boston to prove himself (especially after the Perk trade) and did nothing.

Good for him, Im happy for the guy. I always liked him and wanted him to succeed in Boston. Injuries just held that back from happening, cant knock the guy for that. It was the best decision that he could have made for his career and Im glad its working out for him.

He was always capable of this with us. He had some good games here, and played great defense pretty consistently. He was just always playing with an injury. In fact he's two years removed from averaging those numbers over an entire season, so I don't know what you're talking about with this year's small sample size. And I have no clue what you're talking about with the "plenty of opportunities here in Boston." How does that work when he was never healthy?

He lacked heart, a lot of guys played hurt, he was collecting a paycheck and not a good guy in my book. What he gave us was next to nothing, that isn't to say he wasn't a good player at one time, he was, but he was a parasite here, hurt or no....

This is absolutely ridiculous. You're saying he didn't play the entire playoffs for us with a broken wrist? Yeah, the guy missed games, but he also had mandatory SURGERY in both seasons. It's not like our doctors ever would have cleared him to play after coming off the table.

Haha ... although in fairness, if Doc just used JO as a 15mpg backup center and started KG + Bass/Wilcox, JO would have been a productive role player for us. It was Doc's insistence on starting JO alongside KG that was limiting the team.
