The Pierce-Durant matchup always hurts us. Durant is too long for Paul to guard, and too quick for Bass. I hope we see a lot of Jeff Green tonight.

This would be a good game to start Green. I like the way he and Pierce matchup against Durant and Sefolosha, more than I like how Pierce and Terry do. Plus, it would give us a chance to see how he plays not coming off the bench.
I think Terry is a good option against Thabo because Thabo is a non-threat offensively. So Terry's weak defense shouldn't get punished + it allows Boston to keep one of it's best offensive players on the court.

I think that match-up is an advantage for Boston.

You cannot leave Sefolosha wide open, though. He's hitting 51% of his threes through the first twelve games.
He's not trying that much, but sometimes, it's a couple of points from those role players that decide the winner.

Key for the Celtics should be keeping Durant and Martin out of free-throw line as much as possible. It's going to be difficult, though. Also, Bass and Sullinger will really be in a tough situation against Ibaka.

Despite this, I have an odd feeling that Celtics will get the win somehow.

Optimistic prediction of the night:
C's win 105-102 despite being outrebounded by 7+.  OKC turns the ball over a lot, so the C's will capitalize on fast-break/transition buckets to offset OKC's dynamic scoring trio.  C's bench steps up in this one and provides us energy and scoring.  Durant scores an efficient 30 points but Westbrick scores 25 points on 18-20 shots despite easy buckets in the paint and has 5+ turnovers for the game.

Don't make me look stupid, Celtics.  Let's take this one and take a 1-1 record between SA and OKC.

We are not there yet as a team. I only give the Celtics a 3.3% chance of winning this game.

Rumors of my demise are greatly exaggerated. I just try to grind this out one possession at a time

That is equal to 1 win out of 30.
I don't think there is a team dominant enough to win 29 out of 30 on road at the moment.

Donkey prediction of the night - Jeff Green will drop 30 on OKC! but the fact that this turned the earth off it's axis caused Rondo to slip in the 4th quarter and injure his ankle putting him out for the rest of the year. Celtics win 98-95

Avery Bradley is in uniform and shooting layups during warmups tonight. I'm sure he's not playing, but this is a great sign.

Pierce has yet to make a single pass in this game.

I still dislike Terry as a starter.

We're off to a poor start.
Our points are coming from contested jump shots, while they're scoring through layups.

The interior defense drops off the face of earth once KG hits the bench. Perk looks like a scorer against this defense.

Rondo getting outplayed by Westbrook. Can't afford to just be the floor leader tonight, needs to be in triple double mode
