Perfect fit for the Celtic organization. A broken player to fit in with a Team going nowhere. And no relief in sight. Let's do Rondo a favor and trade him to a team with a positive outlook. This is cruel to watch talent not fulfill him destiny.

He's had more success than any of the other top point guards. I don't know that "cruel" is the right word.

Losing Jeff green would be addition by subtraction...why not take perk back? He only fit perfect with kg.

If Wade or Lebron try acting tough again with us, Perk will literally tear their heads off.

Yeah, just like he did in last year's finals.

Absolutely. Trading Perk was and still is the dumbest move Danny Ainge ever made. When Celtics traded Perk, they lost their toughness.

Oh, and please feel free to take Green back to OKC. Never saw the big deal with him
rofl wat? hahahaha Perk is wat we call a fake tough guy dude just mean mugs he aint no enforcer like yall claim dude is

We did get to Game 7 of the ECF last year without Perk.  Had Shaq been healthy and RR not been 1-armed, we would have beaten the Heat 2 years ago.  I don't think the loss of Perk has been much of a factor.

I don't see what the trade would be though. Hmm... ?aybe Lee and Bass for Perk and Collison? The nubmers work. I would do it.

It would be tough to loss Bass but I think Sullinger and Wilcox could fill that roll. Meanwhile we compress our wing slots and get some much needed size and toughness.

All that toughness is why he's probably being waived. Trading Perk was one of the best and ballsiest moves in the past 5 years. Look at Perkins now, he's a useless bum with no lift
And terrible hands. Danny built up his trade value and got something back for him before letting him walk to OKC for nothing. Can u imagine if we we're paying him 9 million instead of Green? Wake up and look at the bigger picture.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

FWIW - judging from how Green is playing...it really seems like this trade is turning out to be a wash.

To be fair though, OKC did get through and win the West since Perk's arrival. He does a lot of things that don't show up on a stat line. clogging, boxing out, toughness ect...

To be fair Perk didn't exactly have a whole lot to do with them getting to the finals and was only playing about 25 MPG.

Only 4 PPG and 6 RPG in that time, not like he was anchor there.

Eh, Perkins has been better...sorry folks knocking him based off his numbers.
