ONE offensive rebound. ONE.

Outscored 56-34 in the paint.

The ancient Tim Duncan with 15 rebounds

A defense that is worse than Swiss cheese

It is getting to the embarrassment point for Jeff Green. He is absolutely stealing money from this team. And, Courtney Lee has not been much better.

Doc's system is NOT working with these players. Green, Lee, JET (for much of the time), all seem lost.

Thank God we at least have the Rondo streak to make games interesting

What is the point of opening this thread up?
It doesn't bring anything new.

Oh, and Tim Duncan isn't ancient. If he is, then we're starting ancient men at C and SF spots, too.
If you think so, why do you even bother to watch?

Are you the new board police? I am opening this thread to point out how pitiful this team was tonight and has been for most of this season. There are so many problems with this team, it is painful. We are starting two ancient men -- Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett. Tim Duncan is ancient.

No rebounds, no wins.

Offensive rebounds need to be prioritized more.

Watching this defense is grueling. It's going to take a while but we will get there. By 2013 we will begin to see what this team is capable of. It's clear we need a lot of practice and time to get this defense down.

Well, I think it's not a bad thing to ask the purpose of opening a thread in the forum. But it's my opinion.
Anyway, as we're starting two ancient men and they are two of our best three players, there's nothing to feel pitiful about. We're just bound to go rebuilding mode soon, anyway.

garbage playing and garbage coaching right now. not near enough post ups, dribble drives or fast break points for easier buckets. we have too many jump shooters. trade some for a big man who can be a constant force down low all game. and yes, tell everybody to crash the offensive boards because our D is god awful right now anyway and we cannot stop anybody.

and when we have a jump shooter who is hot like JET was earlier why not stay with him til he misses? mind boggling.
LET'S GO CELTICS!

This is where I get confused. These are grown men playing basketball, why exactly do the need 'time' to figure out how to do what they're paid for?

Small ball sucks eggs.

It will NEVER work without LBJ level talent.

What I would trade to have MARK GASOL on this team.

KG is finished as an inside offensive force when playing a "BIG" team with REAL centers.

Only one Off board is silly....it really is .... an NBA team being forced out of the paint , and it isn't even Howard doing it.

Celtics can't beat REAL NBA teams ,  like Grizzles , LAKERS, SPURS , with a bunch of shooting guards. Unless MJ suddenly returns....  ;D

I'm not stunned ....I predicted it would be an inside game destruction of the Celtics.

I hear ya. Why open the same thread after every single loss after saying the same things in the game threads. Its the same thread as this one:

http://forums.celticsblog.com/index.php?topic=60665.0

and this one:

and this one:

AND...its hilarious how the people who open these threads will disappear off the site once the C's turn things around.

Really. I will disappear? Pretty funny. Maybe you guys should set new rules in terms of what we can start threads about so we all can be clear.

You should hear the negative stuff the broadcasters and reporters are saying, and many things they are saying are the same things they say after every bad performance. Gee, those guys should all get fired. How dare they?

This team's inability to at least play adequate defense on skillful perimeter players is mind boggling.

Opposition guards or wings will make one quick step and then be completely free to drive by their man and then draw KG/Wilcox, then just make a simple dump pass to their big for the easiest dunk in the world. Teams aren't even running sets or setting picks to achieve this. A guard is just making one or two dribbles and he's in the key.

Does doc even give them plays? It looks like hes just letting them wing it.  Hes as big of a disappointment as green.

Doc is a coach that has kept this team a contender every year since we got the big 3. If he is not playing green it's because green hasn't shown him anything worth playing not because Doc is misusing green's "all-star" skill set.

What has Green done to warrant playing time if he isn't helping the team in any way. You don't always need the ball or need to score to help your team win.
