That must have sucked. LA looking like winners from the trade.

ANd here I was so happy that he "fell" in the second round of my fantasy draft. I guess he fell pretty hard.

Unbelievable that the Lakers were able to tree him when they were. Just a little bit longer and the Lakers and the Kobe era would have been done. If true then why couldn't this have been discovered pre-trade?!

Oh well. Don't have to worry about Philly now... Still LA.. Wow. Almost too fortunate sometimes...

my favorite part is how every wannabe expert said philly won that trade... when it was super obvious which team won the trade.

Orlando should have taken Gasol and left LA holding Bynum.

Bynum maybe close to finished , unless some stemcell miracle comes along .

LA Dodged another bullet and got DH .

You know if I didn't know better, I'd say that the lakers thought that for all his talent, the kid is as Injury Prone as Greg Oden  ;)...Good thing thier was a team desprate enough to take a huge gamble on him.

Man, I love it. all offseason I've had to hear it from my friends who are Sixer's fans about how great this guy is and how he's going to dominate the East for a decade.

It was like Eagles, round two.

Philly, the offseason champions of every sport!

I'm still not sure that Philly didn't do better getting a walking injury like Bynum than Orlando did by trading Dwight and getting back Aaron flippin' Aflalo.

Well, if bynum is out the year and they lose him in Free agency, then how did they not do worse by defintion?

They will have added nothing and lost AI.

Yeah totally haha.

I still don't understand why they didn't take the rockets plethora of talent for Howard when they had the chance. They way he treated Orlando I woulda shipped him off to the highest bidder.

This cuts like a flaming knife through me.  Not because I want Philly to be stronger or that I like Andrew Bynum, but because the guy just so happens to have his healthiest and best season just in time to have his highest value so that LA can swing a deal for the best center of this generation while apparently giving up NOTHING.

I hate the Lakers passionately but can't say anything other than how smart they have been.   A couple of lucky circumstances true, but getting Pau, draftting Bynum, and getting Howard have been mostly skillful.  Some good fortune involved, but mostly skill.

Makes me physically sick. They will easily surpass the C's within the next 5 years, probably within the next 2.

Can the sixers be compensated with a draft pick the way we were with Jeff Green's heart issue? I figure in their case they deserve a first round pick.
