Going through Rolling Stone's top 100... I'm determined to find a winner.  "Yesterday" was technically 2:03 ...
... Here I go:

Heartbreak Hotel was 2:08:  http://youtu.be/PotB76gi2_4  ...

Long Tall Sally was 2:10:

Papa's Got a Brand New Bag was 2:07:

"Norweigian Wood" was 2:05:

"Blitzkrieg Bop" is 2:12:

"Good Golly Miss Molly is 2:04:

WINNER:  Eddie Cochran - Summertime Blues 1:53:
#74 Greatest song of all time... #1 song under 2 minutes.

... It also looks like the studio version of "Great Balls of Fire" was under 2 minutes, but that was #96 on Rolling Stone's list... so perhaps it's runner up:

FYI, I asked my friend what he thought the best was... and he went with this 35 second song:

My personal favorite is 30 seconds long... It's my ringtone and I use it as an intro to any silly youtube video I make:

I asked my dad and he says "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star"...

And then he said, "Janis - Mercedes Bens" - ... Not bad

i`ll stick to modern releases cause there are too many "less then 2mins" songs in the 50s-60s

My fav if supermarketsong by dEUS
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O4LeaONrVhQ
the video is much longer but the song lasts 1.57

honorary mention:
dEUS : opening night (their album "in a bar under the sea" is a masterpiece)

Yann Tiersen L'Autre Valse D'Amelie
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rcmktJEKCvE

DJ Shadow Organ Donor
i can`t find the labum version that lasts  1.57

Alan Parsons Project Sirius (ok maybe i shouldn`t post this :D)

"Happy Birthday to You"
Right up there with my dad's suggestion of "Twinkle Twinkle LIttle Star"... but hard to argue with this classic.  People sing it daily.

I keep looking for other groups and keep coming back to the Pixies.  Warning: you will see a boob.  Maybe two!

Blur, 'Song 2' is a great choice for a more mainstream option and I also love the Descendents choice!

Here are a couple of my faves from Bad Religion - 'Sinister Rouge' and 'No Control'.

Beatles -Just happy to dance with you
Vna Halen -Eruption
cake- race car yayas
clash- 1977
crosby, still nash and young -find the price of freedom
simon and garfunkel -feeling groovy
