spurs won  and we would have won if RONDO plays tonight.

Actually the Knicks won after a big comeback in the 4th. The Spurs starters didn't come through in the end.

wasn't a bad effort on a night when NOTHING is going our way.... BARBOSA getting clothslined was an outrage and the refs were so BLIND and off with their calls it was outragious

Can't win when the home team is getting all the calls.

IMO Jason Terry has been almost as disappointing as Green, yet he seems to escape the criticism?

That said it's only been 9 games. They can both turn it around and should be good enough to do so.

Sorry if I don't go crap on a guy for shooting 49% from the field.

I liked most of Doc's rotations in the 2nd half. Maybe a little more Wilcox...

And if we had just put in the effort for rebounding in the 1st half like we did in the 2nd.

We could have done better no doubt , but , alot of the rebounds we just bouncing MORE their way , just a slight amount of luck envolved there too. Even the TV commentators noticed the ball were almost going stright into the NETS players hands every time.   Its skill and blocking out, but a certain amount of Luck too....and having no Bradley /ROndo  and the ball is bouncing the other teams way , plus they are hitting threes and the refs are calls aren't falling for us .  It was TOO MUCH to overcome.

disagree. even with our crappy defense and rebounding the 1st half...and even without rondo....we still came back from 13 down and PP had a shot to tie it but CHOKED at the line. no excuses.
LET'S GO CELTICS!

This team is giving up offensive rebounds off missed free throws. That's just a cardinal sin.

I can't get over that this team gets given position in a free throw lineup by the rules of the game an still can't secure the ball.

how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck was chris bosh?

It's not Rondo we missed, but Avery Bradley.

it's not Rondo or Bradley that we missed, it's free throws!

With Rondo and Bradley in the lineup, we never would have been in that position with the score to begin with.  The free throws would (or at least SHOULD) never have been make-or-break shots.

It's not just the free throws though - Bass missed a good 4 or 5 open midrange jumpshots.  Out of those  of so shots he would have made at least 3 of them if he was in alst season's form with his jump shot.

If Bass hits 2 or 3 of those jumpers and Pierce and Terry split those free throws, could have completely changed the outcome of the game. There were also 3 or 4 terrible calls that also could have completely changed the outcome of the game.

Still can't complain about out teams' effort today.  We didn't play a perfect game but out gave it their all and played hard all night - even in a night where everything seemed to be going against us we has a chance to win the game 8 games into a new season with no Rondo or Bradley and with a brand new and unfamilliar lineup.

I can live with this result.

refs did a job on us yesterday, from the first whistle...
obviously our rebounding or lack of it, did us no favor...
