Definitely should have won this one.  This team has had the same problems the last 4 years.

Rebounding and finishing in the fourth.

Probably would have beat them with Rondo too.

When the team gets to the line MAKE THE FREE THROWS.
Heck they already barely get the star treatment as it is.  Every free throw counts because they could potentially cost you a win (like tonight).

spurs won  and we would have won if RONDO plays tonight.

They miss the last 4 out of the last 6 free throws. From both Terry and Pierce!!! This is unacceptable we let the Nets run away with the win tonight.

It's not Rondo we missed, but Avery Bradley.

it's not Rondo or Bradley that we missed, it's free throws!

I don't think Celtics lost cause of Rondo not playing
Rondo didn't affect the amount of missed free throws down the stretch

I liked most of Doc's rotations in the 2nd half. Maybe a little more Wilcox...

And if we had just put in the effort for rebounding in the 1st half like we did in the 2nd.

Moreover, the NBA refs are horrible.

We had our chances....and given it was a back to back, no ROndo, and a lousy first half, that's not bad.   While I don't like to lose, the point is we're playing better, much closer to our potential - and now Lee is a factor.  One more guy to get going....Darko!!

well we blew that sweet 13 point comeback.

terrible 1st half defense and rebounding

then pierce blew it at the end...sigh

we should have won even without rondo.

shows how good we can be.
LET'S GO CELTICS!

We could have done better no doubt , but , alot of the rebounds we just bouncing MORE their way , just a slight amount of luck envolved there too. Even the TV commentators noticed the ball were almost going stright into the NETS players hands every time.   Its skill and blocking out, but a certain amount of Luck too....and having no Bradley /ROndo  and the ball is bouncing the other teams way , plus they are hitting threes and the refs are calls aren't falling for us .  It was TOO MUCH to overcome.

IMO Jason Terry has been almost as disappointing as Green, yet he seems to escape the criticism?

That said it's only been 9 games. They can both turn it around and should be good enough to do so.
