After the finals wins in 08, I went out and bought either the globe or herald. I finally got around to doing what I intended to do.....make a collage from the clippings. Here it is.... 27"x40" framed tribute to the 08 finals!

I blame your procrastination for why we haven't won a title since.  ;D

Better man than me. I went out to flea market and bought one that is similar, yet, not as satifying as a self made one would be.

This is beautiful. TP. Wow it's been 4 years and I still remember how exhilarating and sublime it was to win the title.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

That's awesome!  If I was living in the Boston area with access to all the local papers, I totally would have done a similar sort of thing.

I live in Seattle, but I forced my cousin in Lynn, MA to go out and buy the local papers and ship them to me.  I still have them in my closet.  I should consider doing something like this with them.  Pretty cool.

I also have a handful of magazines from that year with KG and "the Big 3" on the cover.  I had been thinking of maybe putting them all side by side and framing them... I'm not sure.  It's a tough call.

After the Sox won it all in 2004 I bought 50 Globes and 50 Heralds for $50 and have kept them in storage since. My point is, I hope a Sox fan procrastinated in the same fashion for when I start throwing these things on Ebay.

Well done.
