This Trade is Successful!
Start OverAdjust TradeSave Trade Boston Celtics Owed Tax $756,383 Cap Room -$13,019,383 PlayerSalary PER
K. Perkins$7,800,531 7.9 C 3 Years Acquiring 1 Player $7,800,531 Hollinger's Analysis: -3 Wins With this trade you have decreased this team's projected wins by 3.
Oklahoma City Thunder Owed Tax -$1,238,988 Cap Room -$10,931,818 PlayerSalary PER
L. Barbosa$7,600,000 13.9 SG 1 Year
A. Bradley$1,630,800 N/A PG 2 Years Acquiring 2 Players $9,230,800 Hollinger's Analysis: You have not affected the winning percentage of this team. Projected Record Note:
Theyre not that much into Perk ith some labeling as their contract mistake. He has a role to fill here and he knows the system. Since Perk we struggled finding the Center next to KG.
AB is vastly overrated around and if cs ever consider him the solution or the savior why they pick JET and Lee who are basically SGs.
Is this a pipe dream or its somehow possible???

Hey, I love Perk as much as the next guy. But I don't think Perk really fits with our current team. Like it or not, KG is a better C than a PF now. Perk isn't starting over KG, and he isn't a good fit at all at the 4.
What I think we really need is an upgrade at the 4 (j smith) or a better backup center who could also play some 4 in certain lineups with KG.

I think I'd rather give Fab Melo some playing time than take Perk back. Other than a Dwight Howard stopper he has really dropped off. At least Fab is longer and a better shot blocker.

I thinked Perk specially beccause OKC seems to not have that much use for him and Perk knows systems yet.
Its true that can make KG play PF an probably hes now a little to slow for that but who knows, he can play there better than Sully and Bass IMO
Any other reboundng center with interior defense and ho knows how to box out an rebound can work but hey those doesnt come in dozens and every single team seems to appreciatte theirs too much.

I guess the other issue with it is the 7mil salary for Perk. I think that is overpaying for what he gives you.

There's a concept -- putting Fab in a game.

No thanks.
Perk is not the same player anymore. He hurt the knee and lost a lot of weight impacting his ability to play post defense.
At his price he's a horrible value.
I would never advocate moving Bradley for him.
I really don't see any feasible trade between Boston and OKC that makes sense for bringing Perk back.

Agree with this post. Now I love Perk and what he brought to the team years ago before his injuries. Fab Melo can run like deer, and can nearly run the floor up and back , before Perk could get to one end. Perk accelerates like a Catapiller tractor. He moves in slow motion. Somebody like Anderson Varejao is who we need for another BIG to wake this team up. Even then It would be hard to give up Bradley , but I'd trade Jeff Green in a NY sec for ANderson Varejao.

Let me tell you the real issue about this deal: OKC won't do this. They have Sefolosha to play as a defending SG and the lion's share of the minutes are played by Kevin Martin off the bench, anyway. Why would they even try to land Bradley? Especially by giving away their sole true center? Who would they start, then? Nick Collison? I doubt he is a C. Thabeet? I doubt he can consistently stay on the court for 20+ minutes or so.
Case rejected!
