I Loved the flow of the Three man booth last night. Mike, Tommy and Scal were awesome.

The game was of course a let down, but i'd like to see them keep this going. Some memorable exchanges:

(Tommy after a missed dunk)

t: see, now all you had to do was put it up soft off the window, but know everyone wants the slamdunk.

S: yea.....That was never a problem for me

t: I remember you stuffing one home

S: yea, and it was such an odd occurrence no one ever forgets it.

(after a bad over the back call)

T: uughguuuu

M: wow.

S: yea, not much...see i never got that as a player, so much contact positioning for the rebound then a little bump...I don't get it.

T: it's because he's an idiot

I say keep this 3 man booth rocking! What did you guys think?

Yeah, I'm a big fan of what Scal adds to the broadcasts.

Haha. Loved the because he's an idiot line. I'm diggin the three man booth as well. I love mike and tommy together but getting that added coherent basketball knowledge that scal brings is a nice touch. Also the three of them are pretty funny together.

Which line was more classic Tommy?

"Because he's an idiot" or the only way you can make Nick Young think he shouldn't take a shot is to punch him in the face?

(Mike:  "We don't condone punches to the face")

I loved having Scal in there with both Tommy and Mike. I really hope Scal takes over for Tommy when he's ready to call it quits, but having them both together is awesome. The expression on Scal's face during the game was identical to Heinson's, total disgust.

One of the best things about Red Sox games is when Don and Jerry get funny. It was really nice seeing some of that joking around during a Celtics game. Loving the three of them as well.

I'm for it. I love having Scal there, and you can tell that it helps him to be in there getting reps.

Anyone know where I can catch them online?

I can't get Celtics games here in San Fran and I don't have League Pass. The way people are commenting, i'm really interested.

Scal does a nice job of either accenting or finishing Tommy's thoughts for him.  They were great together. Scal has an excellent feel for what his role is in the broadcast, no matter where they put him.

Agree with all. I especially enjoyed at the end of the third when Mike basically decided Scal had to stay a little while longer. That was a great call. As others have said scal adds a different dynamic that enhances Tommys qualities as well.

He's always been a thinking mans player but you really get that sense even more when he's commenting. It's a fresh take and i like that. I hope they keep the three of them together.

Max should have first dibs, but under no circumstance do I want Donny doing play by play, he hates the Celtics and is the Bizarro Tommy!

He really just should have rode Rays coat tails right out of town to Miami.

Yeah, I'm a big fan of what Scal adds to the broadcasts.

Not to be superstitious, but I felt the team played much better during the span he was commentating. I was disappointed when he didn't finish the game.

Of course I am being silly, but I am down for more scal during the game. Just as long as it means he is not on the court in a Celtics Jersey.

TV replaced radio but one would never know it. The bigger the screen the louder it's needed. It's always amazed me that watching something with one's own eyes needs vocal opinion. Now 3 announcers. How about 4, 5, 6? Even with our own replay systems. I watch Sports Games in general muted for the most part. Listening to Mike Gorman would anesthetize me anyway. Cousy was the worst. His pre-game was just too depressive.

My solution is to put the Celts games on Mini Screen in a corner because of lack of entertainment and another Feature on large screen. Works for me.
