Because I know you guys love ray threads so much.....

Rondo was just on WEEI and they asked him who would win in a race between Lebron and himself. Rondo said I would

They asked him who would win between him and Wade. Rondo sid I would

Then they asked between him and Ray. Rondo says I could beat him running backwards .

thought it was kinda funny , that is all

Don't underestimate the Brazilian Blur. In a straight line race, Barbosa could give both RR and AB a a run for their money.

I get the feeling that there are some really fast guys on other teams.

Is Barbosa a fast sprinter, or does he just play very fast? There is a difference. Rondo is talking about a foot race.

When he was on Suns I have no doubt he was the fastest sprinter in the league.  I'd say Monta Ellis would give Rondo the closest run for his money in a sprint, although there are some guys pretty much as fast as he is with the ball (Rose especially).

Supposedly, according to the new super special analytic cameras that are becoming fashionable (which track every player and the ball and their positions on the court for the entire game on a computer), Tony Parker is the fastest player in the league (at least among those teams that have invested in this new technology, which include the Heat and the Celtics).

Of course, this is just based on in-game calculations, as opposed to an actual race.

Its a pity that both of those guys are playing better perimeter D than 10 rondos at the moment.

I can tell you haven't seen many of Allen's games in a Heat uniform.

Doc's opinion on EEI this morning was that Rondo and Barbosa would be very close and didn't know who'd win.  With a ball, he said Rondo would win.  Doc also said that Rondo and Lebron would be too close to say.

Leandrinho is FAST with the ball, that´s what I want out of Rajon. I don´t want see his amazing handles at the three unless he combines that with his amazing speed, Rondo needs to blow by his man and go to the hoop.

All I know is that rondo is faster than anyone of his opponents that guard him. So I'm waiting for him to start driving to the basket.
