I was rather appalled to see the thread on Herb being legalized in Colorado and Washington to be terminated. As proven now in the States that are legalizing this medicinal's plants use, for either medical reasons or recreational use.

We the people are changing the laws because among other reasons we recognize that is safer than alcohol for a recreational drug, and much safer for medical use than Paxil,Prozac,****,Hydrocodone, Oxycontins, Etc.

If we as Americans and also as Citizens of the world, do not have the freedom to exercise are first amendment rights to simply discuss the pro's and con's of something that has widely been considered a Medical tool for thousands of years. Meanwhile drugs being created in the last five or ten years, sometimes we are being experimented on by drugs that are brand new with little to no knowledge of the short and long term health implications. Some of these drugs are destroying are Liver and Kidneys, Organs responsible for filtering and detoxifying the body.

If we can't discuss them here, than what does that say about are freedom as Human Beings.

Look at the posting rules.  No one ever said this place was governed by the laws of freedom of speech.

There are only two no-no topics... still leaves plenty to discuss.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
No drugs, no abortion, no sexual innuendo, no swearing, be nice to each other. Those are pretty much the rules. There are a few more specific rules, but those are pretty much it. If you're going to get outraged about it, well..rage on. But within the confines of the rules.

I love the free speech argument.

So just a question, at what point of legalization will the staff consider Marijauna to be like Alcohol, which is still a drug but an allowable topic on the blog.

No idea.  Probably after it's no longer illegally federally, although even then I'm not sure we want a lot of stoner stories.

Drugs are bad mmm k. Look no further than many of the trade threads on this site and you'll see what they can do to a person's mind.
Still don't believe in Joe.

[Edited.]  What part of "don't discuss drug use" wasn't clear?

Last warning.

Way I see it, there are plenty of other places to discuss that kind of stuff. This is a Celtics forum. No problems keeping it that way.
