I'm using my Forums Manager powers, and am decreeing the following ( ):
Crownsy is immediately ianboy's co-GM. He has all powers of a full GM, including the right to make picks and trade players;
If ianboy doesn't check in within 24 hours, crownsy takes over full responsibility of the team.
Sound fair?
I think that sounds good. I think we should do that. I say go ahead Crownsy, make your picks.

Three great picks -- all at the top of my list of available guys.
I think That Midfield pairing, if I can get a good striker later for them to feed, would be amazing to see in action. Platini was such a creative attacker, finisher and passer, and he'll be our free kick specialist. And the Blond Arrow Is a great counterpart. Fantastic finisher, great defender to link up help keep us in the attacking third, and can run forever.

What will be most intersting to me is to see when modern Guys (other than "I'd be amazing at anytime in history" Messi) go.
And also When Keepers start to go off and what era there from. more than any other position you here the "Modern vs. Classic" argument at GK.

I was hoping Di Stefano would fall another few picks so I could couple him up with Beckenbauer. With Beckenbauer orchestrating the the team from the back and Di Stefano directing it from midfield. That would have been an incredible combination. Surprised Di Stefano fell as far as he did. Garrincha too. In hindsight, maybe I should have taken Di Stefano ahead of Beckenbauer. Not sure. I was a bit uncomfortable taking a player from the 50s with my first pick so I kinda looked past him. Bad reason. Also, as somewhat of a tie-breaker, I liked Beckenbauer's added success with the German National team. It would have been really sweet to have had a general like Di Stefano running the midfield. In hindsight, he would've a great guy to build a team around.

I think this will absolutly be thrown out thier for my team when it comes time to evaluate the squads, I think it's a valid concern on your part. For me, He's the Best Midfielder of all time, and It's not close. But I can see the Bill Russel "No competition" argument being used to question my attack's effectivness.

Maybe Who should pick?
ACF is online again right now. So he'll probably be making his pick soon enough. Not sure who I want to take anyway. So, ACF, no rush. I'll be another little while making up my mind.
