BTW I loved the Neeskens pick. Another player that should have been picked earlier. You have a nice Dutch colony there.

Also, surprised that ACF didn't take another famous Danish player.

Tomasson?

Fernando Redondo
I love Redondo. I was getting worried that he wasn't going to get picked. Redondo was my second choice holding midfielder behind Rijkaard.

Brilliant player. So skillful. Excellent deep lying playmaker. Great range of passing. Great tactically. Maintains shape and balance of his team superbly well. Very good dribbler who can past people. Can break down a defense.

Absolutly agreed

Rijkarrds fits better with your team

So somebody created this weighted score system to try and figure out which footballers scored the most goals in big games during their careers. I thought it might be of interest to people who participated in this All-Time Soccer Draft.

So here is the weighting system.

50    Karl-Heinz Riedle    Germany    1983-2001    4    12

Gerd Muller with top spot. Puskas, Di Stefano and Pele all with big time scores above 40. Zidane and Ronaldo up above 30, very impressive. How far ahead of the pack they are.

On a side note, I think Diego Forlan at #15 is a pretty amazing achievement. Highest footballer still playing on the table.

My team ended up with Van Basten at #11 and Kempes at #9. So two guys around the top ten. That is pretty good. I am happy with that. A pair of big game scorers there. I also have C.Ronaldo at #25, Neeskens at #35 and Ruud Gullit near the bottom of the table.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
This draft happened 8 years ago.

With the NBA season coming to an end, I was wondering if there's any chance that this can come back, almost a decade later, with new players available, and can be run again.

Thanks.

I'm interested in joining but I won't be any good if it's another all-time draft, maybe 21st century?

Okay, for the record, I wasn't presenting myself as someone who can run the game. I don't know if I could, with time differences and all.

I'm just asking if there's a chance the guys behind this can probably do it again.  ;D
