In my eyes it's very simple. He deserves to be treated like any other guy on the "away" team. No more. No less. Let the Boston fans do the talking for the organization. If he's cheered so be it. If he's booed then he earned it and deserves it.Please don't bungle this opportunity for the fans voice to be heard ownership. Let us collectively speak for the franchise. Silence is just as classy in this situation as some corny contrived video highlight.
hopefully it's just highlights of games against Miami
It's the classy thing to do.
Nice of Boston to show a little class to the situation after how they treated him during his tenure with the Celtics.
I know Ray has said some stupid things, but I really don't understand everyone's overreaction. He did what he wanted to do. The Celtics reloaded and are better now and in the future than if he had stayed. I have no problem cheering for him during the video highlight, and even hoping that he has a good season, but also hoping that he goes ice cold and the Heat lose every game to the Celtics this season and post-season.
