If Dwight Howard stays with the Lakers Kobe Bryant may never make the playoffs ever again.  8)

All our rivals (bar Pacers [who aren't even a rival really]) won tonight.

Does that translate as "all the good teams that were playing bad teams won"?

Brackets inside of braces, that's not something you see every day.

What is this, math class?  :-\

And technically, the braces should be inside of the brackets.

Other than the Celtics win, a horrible NBA night... pretty much all the teams I wanted to win lost, and Lakers won.

Lakers won, but you have to imagine that they are exerting a LOT of energy with these come-from-behind wins...with a not so great bench.

I'm holding out hope that we can meet them again this post-season, though....I'd LOVE that.

Grudge Match! BOS vs LA - one more time.

And we'd have home-court advantage!

We'd have to win one at Staples Center...a place where we haven't had much fortune lately.

True that.

But it has been done:

We had FIVE 7 footers on that 2010-11 roster.

I agree. Back in the day, we used to always split the season series against the Lakers by winning at Staples hahah.

But yeah, by following the 2-3-2 Finals format, and if the Lakers win Game 2 in Boston...it's going to be a rough finals alright. I don't like that format at all though. It feels like the lower seeded team has home court advantage.

Nope.  CelticConcourse got it right.  Nice use of a parenthetical inside a parenthetical.
