C's gave up 72 last year.

OKC will do that to you.

If you look at what people got fined that number for, 25,000, it was JR Smith tweeting a picture of an almost nude girl and Steve Blake swearing at a fan.  The fine doesn't even make sense.  It was complete BS.

Jermaine O'Neal will miss three games for what I think we can all agree is a legitimate medical reason; he will be with his 13-year-old daughter, who is having open-heart surgery in Boston.

He's left it up to his children to decide whether he should retire.  He almost did earlier this season:

Quote
O’Neal nearly did not find out how much he had left. He grumbled about training camp, his health and his role early in the season. His aunt died in November, two weeks after he had forgotten to respond to her text message. When he returned home to South Carolina for the funeral, his grandmother’s failing health nearly sent him to retirement after a career of $167million in earnings.

I feel kind of bad for having hated on JO now.

He loves the sport.

So easy to get caught up and obsessed with winning/losing.

Gonna lay off Bass now.

Whew, that is a big frontline. Dexter Pittman and Marc Gasol playing alongside one another against the Blazers (Aldridge and Hickson respectively). Gasol playing in the high post and Pittman doing work inside.

Memphis has the 6-11 Austin Daye at the three too. Length.

Utah blows the late lead in Cleveland.   Trying all they can to give that 8 seed to LA.

Let's see if NOH can hold a 19 pt half-time lead v. Lakers.

I like Detroit's small quick backcourt (W.Bynum, B.Knight) against J.Kidd (SG) and the Knicks.

I think Brandon Knight can get a lot of joy with his quickness against Kidd's slow feet. Probably the best way to attack Kidd's defense. Go small and force him to defend a PG.
